Volunteer
Melbourne is looking forward to hosting the Rotary International Convention in May 2023. A most liveable city with much to offer - we wish to demonstrate a warm and friendly welcome to all Rotarians attending from around the globe.
A vital part of this is to have an engaged and energised volunteer team to assist all visitors during the Convention. We wish to include volunteers from all ages and backgrounds and create a diverse team. Volunteers may be Rotarians or Non Rotarians - we encourage family and friends and all likeminded people - to be part of this wonderful opportunity to showcase Rotary and Melbourne.
Calls for volunteers are open now (register here). The registration process shall require you to provide some general information - including name , contact details and details of any special skill set you may be able to offer as a volunteer. Please register as a volunteer before accessing the Job and Shift process. It shall take a few days after you register before you can access the Jobs and Shifts selection.
The second part of the volunteering process will ask you to select from the various jobs and shifts for which you can volunteer. You shall be able to select your desired shift from the dates and times that are available. Most of the shifts shall be for a period of four hours. You shall be able to volunteer for multiple shifts over multiple days - or a single shift on a single day - every contribution assists with the running of the Convention.
